As part of our commitment to fostering a diverse ecosystem, we actively assess the diversity of the founders and leaders of the companies that we meet with. This enables us to evaluate our efforts to create an ecosystem that more closely represents the patient populations that are served by these innovative technologies. It is important to us that the information we collect is self-identified by company leadership to ensure clarity and consistency.

Sonder Capital understands that the information provided in this survey is sensitive. Thus we commit to take the necessary steps to keep it secure and will only use it in accordance with the statements below:

The information collected as part of the survey will be used for the following purposes:

  • Internal tracking of founder/leader diversity (by racial and gender identity) to establish a baseline assessment of our deal funnel
  • Internal tracking of founder/leader diversity to assess the success of our efforts to diversify our deal funnel
  • External presentation of aggregated metrics on the Sonder Capital website

The information collected as part of the survey will not be used for the following purposes:

  • Making investment decisions
  • Sharing with any parties external to Sonder Capital (including portfolio companies)

When presented externally, this information will only appear in aggregated form such that individuals and individual companies cannot be identified.
